Sustainably minded organisations recognize themselves as part of the wider world not separate from it. Many internal sustainability programmes struggle to demonstrate their engagement internally with their workforce and externally with communities and the environment in a positive commitment towards sustainability. Strong leadership is all about executing a plan and demonstrating that the financial and internal resources expended align with on-the-ground actions abs in external stakeholder relationships and are delivering real progress.
This 1-day course allows leaders in sustainability responsibilities to evaluate and consider how their organisational sustainability initiatives are linking into the external interests of their employees, benefitting employee well-being, investing in Communities to tackle mutual issues and leveraging interests. Participants will examine what are the core capabilities those tasked with delivering sustainability require to enable meaningful bottom line/cross-sector collaboration.
The course is delivered through a day of intensive and interactive classroom teaching.
